Bedrock prides themselves as being above average in terms of restaurant rank but unfortunately there is a disjoint between its food and overall ambience/service .

A dining experience starts at the door and unfortunately every point of contact we had showcased disinterested, tired staff who lacked basic communication skills as well as initiative . We weren't the only table feeling it. We observed other diners requesting their table to cleaned after having just being seated, cold bread returned, request for menus etc.

Atrocious service aside, the food was also a mixed bag. The 14oz American Ribeye steak was juicy, succulent and cooked exceptionally well. The Mac & Cheese was absolutely divine; crispy on the top but oozed a delicious blend of cheeses. Possibly the best Mac & Cheese I've ever tried in Singapore. However, the 8.4oz American Tenderloin first came out with a undesired thick carcinogenic coating of charcoal and the second attempt saw it being served rare despite the request for a medium doneness.

Overall, the food was delicious but this can be easily gotten at similarly priced steak houses (with better service). If we didn't have the entertainer app, where a main is free at the purchase of another main, I would have possibly felt more indignant at the poor experience. However, with the app, the value proposition isn't too bad and could be worth a gamble again to see if we were just unlucky, but otherwise, without it, it's hard to recommend this place.
